Located in the private reserve of the Mistico Park, the Arenal Hanging Bridges are considered one of the most beautiful ecological projects in Costa Rica: a combination of trails and bridges through the very humid tropical rainforest near the Arenal Volcano. On this excursion, you can contemplate views of the Arenal Volcano and enjoy the lush biodiversity. Your guide, a wildlife and flora specialist, provides useful information along the way.
You can walk along medium-difficulty trails surrounded by lush nature. Enter the pre-mountain tropical rainforest and discover the ancient lava flows from the 1968 eruption. Finally, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape with a 360° view of the majestic Arenal Volcano from the viewpoint.
A tour through gardens, trails, and lakes, exploring trees and the life on their trunks. The trails are easily accessible and suitable for all ages, offering a great diversity of flora, fauna, and the sighting of species such as sloths, monkeys, birds, and caimans.
It descends from a height of 70 meters and is located within one of the extinct craters of the Chato Volcano. Here you will have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim at the base of the natural pools of the Fortuna River, or simply enjoy the beauty of the surrounding environment.
